Fireplace retrofit

Our fireplaces are made by Heatilator, and through Fireside, Inc. (425.251.9447) I bought a blower that works in tandem with a remote control thermostat. I can control the flame height, temperature and fan speed from the comfort of my chair!

I bought the parts from them, and they threw in labor for free!

Neighborhood Restaurant Reviews

We have 4 restaurants so close, that 2 of them don't require you to leave the block.

The Rice & Roll is alright. My basic rolls with which I judge the quality of any given sushi restaurant are the spicy tuna and California Roll. If an establishment fails on these, there is no redeeming them. Theirs were fine. They were made to order.

The only thing is that they cost as much as the same rolls from Hana on Broadway- my favorite Seattle sushi restaurant. It isn't fancy, but the food is amazing. From the Nabeyaki udon, to the spider roll, Hana is heaven. Service is quick and efficient. I always tip 20% there.

Pho Hai Yen- I arrived at 3:00 on a weekend. The employees were enjoying a family style meal of the most delicious looking foods. I know I saw crispy skinned duck. I wanted to sit with them.

I was seated at my table, and given a menu. I ordered a shrimp/ sping roll vermicelli bowl. When the check came, it was almost TEN DOLLARS! I didn't order a rare or endangered meat. There no more than a total of 10 small shrimp on 2 skewers with 2 spring rolls. I'll have to try the pho. I am a fan of either of the 2 locations of the Lemongrass. I have been enjoying meals there since their first location on 12th, near my last residence.

I'll review the other 2 another time.
